Business
The Certificate of Higher Education in Business provides students with a broad and structured introduction to key areas of business and management through Level 4 study. The programme develops a foundational understanding of core concepts, theories and tools used in contemporary organisations, while introducing students to basic analytical and problem-solving approaches that can be applied to simple organisational scenarios. Students are also introduced to quantitative and digital skills, including basic data handling and the use of digital technologies in business contexts.
The Cert HE Business encourages awareness of ethical, social and organisational responsibilities within management and business practice, alongside the development of essential academic, personal and professional skills. These include communication, teamwork, independent learning and reflective practice. Designed both as a standalone qualification and as preparation for further study, the programme supports progression into higher-level business education or entry-level roles within a range of work environments.
